The vestry is a committee of elected and ex-officio members of the congregation which meets regularly to discuss Christ Church matters and make decisions on behalf of the congregation. The members are elected by the congregation at the Annual General Meeting, and report formally to the congregation there. The vestry relies on advice from a number of committees with specific remits that often draw members from the wider congregation. Minutes of vestry meetings are available at the back of church.
Michael Herriot (Factor) and Pip Blackledge (Associate Priest) have an open invitation to attend Vestry meetings.
If you wish any further information or clarification about any matter in them, please contact Jane Green as Vestry Secretary.
