Susan Macdonald, Rector

Susan Macdonald has been Rector since the end of August 2007, returning to her home diocese of Edinburgh after serving for several years in diocesan posts in the Dioceses of Moray, Ross & Caithness and Aberdeen & Orkney

Michael Green, Director of Music

Michael has been a member of Christ Church since 2002 and took over as Director of Music at Easter 2005.P1050987

Kenneth Ramage
Kenneth Ramage, Treasurer

The Treasurer, Kenneth Ramage is appointed by the Vestry to ensure the maintenance of accounting records and the preparation of the accounts of the Church. The treasurer also advises the Rector and Vestry with regard to all financial matters relevant to the life of the congregation. The December/January edition of the magazine has fuller details of the roles and responsibilities of the Treasurer.

Jane Green
Jane Green, Secretary

The Secretary, Jane Green, is appointed by the Vestry to work with the Rector, other office beares, committee convenors, archivist, data protection officers and others to help ensure the smooth running and co-ordination of all vestry and governance matters. The December/January 2010 edition of the magazine has fuller details of the roles and responsibilities of the Secretary and an article from Jane about the volunteer role of Lettings Manager.

Angela Brown, People’s Warden

The People’s Warden, Angela Brown, is appointed by the congregation to represent their views and interests to the Rector and Vestry. Contact her if there is any church matters you wish to discuss.  The February 2010 edition of the magazine has fuller details of the roles and responsibilities of the People’s Warden.

Cecilia Stephens, Rector’s Warden

The Rector’s Warden, is appointed by the Rector and supports her in her ministry.

Michael Herriott, Factor

The Factor, is appointed by the Vestry to ensure the appropriate upkeep of the fabric of the church and associated properties and all other properties owned by the church. In liason with the Property and Finance & Admin Committe the Factor also plans and budgets for programmes of maintenance, refurbishment and capital expenditure.  The February 2010 edition of the magazine has fuller details of the roles and responsibilities of the Factor.

Timothy Horne, Lay Representative

The Lay Representative is elected by the congregation at the Annual General Meeting and attends Diocesan Synod and Area Council meetings on Christ Church’s behalf.
