Youth

Responding to the needs and challenges faced by our Young People in the present context, we are in the process of finding new ways to consolidate and develop this important aspect of our church’s life. Following  events were some of them that has been well received in the past. We, at Christ Church in association with the Diocese  will continue to strive for a meaningful and relevant activities for the Young People. In the meantime please contact the Revd. Film and Pizza Night

An evening for the youngsters to relax, eat pizza and watch a film!  This event is intended for 13-16 year olds. The next one is on 26th February 2010 at 6:30pm!

Ecumenical Gatherings

An afternoon gathering of young members from Christ Church, Old St. Paul’s, Edinburgh and St. Philip’s, (Church of Scotland) Portobello. The last afternoon featured engaging conversations, a visual presentation about ‘Christianity in India’ and Ice cream @ Luca’s! Next one is on 22 May from 2-4pm in Old St.Paul’s church hall to hear about “Prayer and Pilgrimage” by Simon Tibbs, Curate at OSP.

Diocesan Youth Events

Deep Freeze: Edinburgh Diocesan Youth Ice Skating Event on Saturday, 20 March 2010, From 2:15pm-4:30pm. Location:  Murrayfield Ice Rink, Riversdale Crescent, Edinburgh, EH12 5XN. This event is for Young people between the ages of 12-18. Fee is £4.80 per person plus £1.70 if you need to rent ice skates (£6.50 in total) Registration forms will be sent to you when you RSVP by 3 March to Michelle Brown at youth@dioceseofedinburgh.org
