HOLY CORNER JUST ACTION GROUP
Last month the Just Action group arranged an exchange of information with representatives from Go Forth and the Police about the growing presence of migrants in the area.
We are now taking forward the suggestions that came up during this conversation, starting with our response to the appeals for help from people who come to our two churches.
As they speak little or no English we cannot be sure what they want so one of our most pressing tasks is to find someone willing to act as an interpreter in Romanian and Bulgarian. At the least we’d like to have the homeless leaflet with addresses translated.
